The Science
Department at Minor High School believes that everyone needs to use
scientific information to make choices that arise each day. And everyone
deserves to share in the excitement that can come from understanding and
learning about the natural world. It is because of these beliefs that our
Science Department offers a wide variety of science courses and that each
course is designed to allow students to explore their own personal
interests. Science teachers work collaboratively to assure that Minor High
School students receive the best science education possible.
We are proud of the fact that in last year's
AHSGE we had a 92% passage rate and are competitive with Jefferson County &
State passage rates on the AHSGE. |
