Objective

The purpose of this organization is to examine various cultures and the contributions they have made to society. By taking this critical look at humankind, students will be able to acquire an appreciation for the differences in their school, community, and the world.

Ultimately, it is the goal of the club to promote tolerance and understanding as necessary tools for social interaction in today's global society. By celebrating the beauty of diversity, the aim is to unite all shapes, sizes, ages, colors, abilities, and minds together to grow and fight discrimination.

Activities

The Multicultural Heritage Club activities consist of various programs and projects to enhance and further promote the objectives of the club. The activities sponsored by the club each year are Black History Program, Prom Fashion Show, Multi-Cultural Day, Community Service and Teacher Appreciation. The club will also work along with the Student Council and the Heritage Panel and celebrate the Diversity of Minor High School.
