Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is the youth organization of the Business Education program for high school students. This co-curricular organization will provide students with the opportunity to participate in the activities that will help to develop qualities of business and civic leadership needed in preparing to enter the world of work.

The Goals of FBLA

Develop competent, aggressive business leadership
Strengthen the confidence of students in themselves and their work
Create more interest in and understanding of American business enterprise
Encourage members in the development of individual projects
Encourage scholarship and promote school loyalty
Assist students in the establishment of occupational goals
Facilitate the transition from school to work

 

 

August FBLA officers for the 2007-2008 school year were selected.

September Organizational meeting for the current school year is held. Members participate in fundraiser.

October –  Officers attend Joint Leadership Development Conference.

November Members take field trip to The Club for a business luncheon.  Service project is underway.

December Service project is completed

January Members prepare for Regional Competitions. Officers prepare for Faculty/Community Breakfast.

February – Regional competitions held at local school.

March Regional winners prepare for State Competition.

April Regional winners and officers attend State Competition.

May – Recognition of outstanding members and regional/state winners.
