Minor’s
Legends
Minor
High School is very proud of its student athletes. Many of our athletes
have gone on to further their playing days in college. There
are a select few who have gone on to become “Tiger Legends.” Some
of these legends include Bart and Butch Moore, who played professional
baseball following a great career at Minor. Butch
Moore played in the 1982 World Series with the Milwaukee Brewers. Ken
Watson played in the NFL and CFL after having a wonderful career at
Minor and Livingston. Alex
Duchock was a defensive star for the Auburn Tigers football team after
a great career at Minor. Tyrone
King was a standout player for the Alabama Crimson Tide. T.
J. Cleveland played basketball for the Arkansas Razorbacks and then went
on to become the assistant coach at UAB. Chris Williams played
basketball for the Virginia Cavaliers and is now a superstar in
Australia for basketball. Rodney Williams played football for the
Vanderbilt Commodores and is now looking to go pro. Bryan Thomas played
for the UAB Blazers Football Team and is now playing for the New York
Jets in the NFL.
