Aight!! It's OFFICIAL!! We will hold our next get together event on Saturday, April 26, from 4-9pm at the Eagles Lodge in Forestdale.

The Eagles Lodge is located at 145 Persimmon Street, Birmingham, AL 35214. Persimmon Street runs right next to Arby's on Hwy 78 across from where the old Forestdale Baseball Park used to be (where they built the Kmart/Delchamps, etc). Turn right next to Arby's and the lodge is about 1/4 mile down on your left.

Attendance Fees are $15/person or $25/couple. You may pay your fees by sending a check or money order made out to:

(Some have already sent in their check but have made it out to Harold - please make it out Minor High School Class of 73 as that is the name the account is under)

Please write your class year on your check.

Please remit as soon as possible as we are just about 1 month away from the event. We have placed a deadline of April 20, to receive the attendance fees to help us plan on attendance headcount for drinks, food and supplies.

We will have a Cookout and serve hamburgers and hotdogs as part of your admission fee. We are looking at entertainment options and will post more on that soon.

This one is NOT BYOB. Any alcohol will have to be purchased from the lodge. We have hired 2 bartenders to serve at a cash bar. Tips will be appreciated. NO outside alcohol will be allowed.

Please get the word out to as many as possible who aren't on Facebook.If you have attended one of these in the past you know what a blast it is to see and reconnect with old friends.

It would also be helpful if you'd like to copy and paste this post to help spread the word. We are losing more and more old friends every month - it's important to take every opportunity we can to get together and reconnect while we can.

Dress is casual. This is not a formal reunion. This is old friends getting back together to have a good time. Very few of us can still fit into the clothes we wore in high school (a nice way to say that I've gotten fat!) and this isn't about any of that. This is just "us" getting a chance to catch up with "us" - don't miss out.

There are some who might have difficulty with the attendance fees; don't let that stop you from joining us. We have funds set aside to help with that for those who need it. Come join us and let's have a great time!
